You don’t need to be a vegetarian or vegan to love veggie burgers! It’s not often I recommend processed foods. Usually I’m coaching friends to remove packaged goods from their pantries. We’re all running from one task to the next and don’t have the time to cook a full meal. No, just me?!
While I have lots of tips on how to meal plan, meal prep and even map out your grocery list, sometimes the freezer section is a must! These burgers are a much healthier dinner or lunch option too when you’re brown baggin’ it.
Since most “fast food” is loaded with gross chemicals, too much unhealthy fat, or unnecessary sugar it’s hard to know what to eat when you just don’t have the time or in my case, energy. The kids are literally sucking the life out of me. Good thing they’re cute. Anyway, here are my top three veggie burgers that actually taste good and don’t have a bunch of added junk. Toss one of these bad boys on a frying pan (not as good in the microwave) or on the grill with a side of sweet potato fries or veggies and dinner is served! Sometimes I have it with a sprouted grain bun, topped with a slice of cheese but I love’em as is. Even the boys will scoff these down with a side of ketchup.
